Lesson 1: Grammar: Alphabet & Pronunciation
Английската азбука има 26 букви.
The English Alphabet (A–Z) has 26 letters
The letters are: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z
Гласните се произнасят ето така:
The vowels are pronounced:
- A /eɪ/ — apple, age
- E /iː/ — egg, evening
- I /aɪ/ — insect, ice
- O /oʊ/ — orange, open
- U /juː/ — umbrella, unicorn
Английските гласни имат къси и дълги звуци:
English vowels have short and long sounds:
- Къси/Short: a (cat), e (red), i (sit), o (dog), u (sun)
- Дълги/Long: a (cake), e (tree), i (time), o (rope), u (flute)
Съгласните се произнасят така:
- C — can be /k/ (cat) or /s/ (city) – Може да е /k/ или /с/
- G — /g/ (go) or /dʒ/ (giant) – Може да е /г/ или /дж/
- TH — two sounds: /θ/ (thin) and /ð/ (this) – Това е труден звук, съставен от два звука, напомнящи /т/ или /д/
